Faculty & Bios
Under the direction of Ms. Farrah Cortez, her vision was to create a faculty of Moms, Wives and a focused group of industry professionals whose passion for the arts have created a one-of-a-kind experience unlike ANY other dance program.
We bring the Dance Studio experience to YOU!
Our group of educators have all together 50 years of dance experience on stage, in companies and as educators for all ages. We do not hire recent college graduates. Our teachers must have a minimum of 5 years teaching children-teen-adults as well as a professional Dance, TV or Film resume and be familiar with the "studio life".

Farrah Cortez
ADA Founder & Director
Ballet, Tap, Theater, Jazz, Flamenco, Tots,
Modeling and TV/Film:
Teaching dance for over 15 years in both Recreational and Studio settings, she has TV & Film credits as well as a DEA Dance Teacher certification and the Association of Dance Teachers, NJ (pending)as well as SAG/Aftra member.
Her business savvy has also propelled her into signing with 2 major modeling agencies in NYC , TRUE and Bi-Coastal , working with companies like Ralph Lauren, Macys and One Stop Plus as well as representation for Film & TV with ETA in NYC.
She continues to work as a TV Host for fashion and TV projects as well as her own web show The NY Spot. She continues to choreographing award winning routines and is enjoying her life as a pup- mom, a wife and being the best mommy to her son Benjamin.
Sha'Anna Williams
Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Miss Sha'Anna Williams brings us the
expertise of performance and passion for dance. Being well versed in all dance genres including Ballet, Hip Hop, Street Jazz/Funk and Contemporary, she directs our ADA Hip Hop Dance Team and is an ADA teacher.
As a graduate of Montclair State University, she includes on-stage experience with compaines like McDonalds , BET Gospelfest, Brooklyn Fashion Week, Worlds Resort Casino, Jline (artist), Boston Caribbean Festival and artist Kerwin DuBois as well as sensational team Tavia & Tamara.
As a teacher, her experience as a choreographer and educator spans over 10 years with companies such as Urban Connections, CDC Hill, Love 2 Dance and now adds Founder and Director of X-Quisite Dance Crew.
As a proud mother of a beautiful baby boy, she adds love and art to all she does. We proudly welcome Miss Williams to ADA!
Erin Sheets
Choreographer / Instructor from New York City.
She has trained extensively in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz but has found her
artistic home in Hip Hop and Street Styles. Erin has performed for
Nike, Adidas, Pepsi,R&B artist Lee Charm, MTV, Reggaetone artist Tyna
Q, Bloch, Angel Feliciano's "The Movement" and much more. She was a
featured dancer in the promos for Americas Best Dance Crew with Randy
Jackson as del as the Step up 3D movie.
Erin has extensive experience teaching children of all levels in Hip
Hop, Jazz and Contemporary all throughout New York, New Jersey, and
Virginia. Welcome to the ADA Family!
